Raised FDIC Limits Now Extended Permanently
Increased FDIC Insurance Limits protect up to $250,000 per depositor. Households can have several million dollars in combined FDIC insurance depending on the number and type of accounts.
We also participate in the FDIC's Transaction Guarantee Program which fully guarantees the entire amount in all transaction accounts earning 0.25% or less through December 31, 2010. This is in addition to, and separate from, any other FDIC coverage.
